Your agreement with Spoto

By using Spoto, you agree to these terms and the Community Guidelines. The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use signed-in features.

What Spoto provides

Spoto helps people discover and share places. It is not a booking provider, travel adviser, emergency service, or guarantee that a place is open, lawful, accessible, safe, accurate, or suitable for you. Check important details with the venue or relevant authority before acting on a recommendation.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 and legally able to agree to these terms. Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity through your account unless it results from a security failure for which Spoto is responsible.

• Do not create accounts for someone else without authority.
• Do not sell, transfer, or create accounts to evade enforcement.
• We may require email, identity, or security verification when reasonably needed.

Your content and licence

You keep ownership of content you create. To operate Spoto, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process, resize, transcode, distribute, display, and make technically necessary adaptations to that content. The licence also permits Spoto to feature public content when promoting the service, with attribution where practical.

• The licence lasts while your content is available through Spoto and for a reasonable technical period after deletion.
• Backups, legal preservation, and copies previously shared by other users may remain after deletion.
• You confirm that you have the rights, permissions, and releases needed to publish the content.
• You remain responsible for your contribution and must not imply that Spoto endorses it.

Acceptable use

Follow the Community Guidelines and Location & Safety rules. Do not misuse Spoto or help someone else do so.

• Do not post illegal, infringing, deceptive, exploitative, hateful, threatening, or privacy-invasive content.
• Do not access private systems, bypass security or rate limits, distribute malware, or probe the service without written permission.
• Do not scrape at harmful scale, resell Spoto data, manipulate ranking or engagement, or use automated accounts without permission.
• Do not publish private residences, live locations, or sensitive sites in a way that creates a foreseeable risk of harm.

Reports, moderation, and appeals

We may review content and account activity, investigate reports, and take proportionate action. This can include labels, reduced visibility, removal, feature restrictions, suspension, or termination. We consider context, severity, legal duties, repeat behaviour, and risk of harm.

• We may preserve evidence and cooperate with valid legal requests.
• We will provide reasons for material action when reasonably possible and legally permitted.
• Eligible decisions can be challenged through the appeal form.
• Submitting knowingly false or abusive reports may itself violate these terms.

Spoto content and intellectual property

The Spoto name, logo, interface, software, and original materials are protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a limited, personal, revocable right to use the service as intended. They do not transfer ownership of Spoto technology or branding.

Third-party services

Maps, place details, external links, identity tools, and media delivery may rely on third parties. Their own terms and privacy notices may apply. Spoto is not responsible for a third-party service merely because it is linked or displayed in the product.

Availability and changes

We may maintain, test, change, or discontinue features and may interrupt access to protect security or reliability. We do not promise that Spoto will always be available or error-free. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will provide reasonable notice when practical.

Responsibility and legal limits

Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights or excludes liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury where applicable. Within the limits allowed by law, Spoto is not responsible for user content, third-party conduct, choices based on place information, or losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you agreed to these terms.

Suspension and ending the agreement

You may stop using Spoto and delete your account at any time. We may restrict or end access for serious or repeated violations, a legal requirement, a credible security threat, or conduct that creates material risk to people or the service. We will give notice and an opportunity to appeal when reasonably possible.

Disputes and applicable law

Contact us through the legal notice form first so we can try to resolve a concern. The law and courts that apply depend on where Spoto is legally operated and any mandatory rights in your country. These terms do not remove a consumer’s right to use a court or dispute process available under mandatory local law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect product, legal, or safety changes. We will update the date above and provide reasonable notice of material changes. Continuing to use Spoto after the effective date means the updated terms apply to future use.
